The Berger Fellow
Dedicated to support the development of a future leader in the field of child abuse and neglect, The Berger Fellow supports the research, treatment and program development activities at The Kempe Center to expand intervention programs for abused children.
The Jack and Viki Thompson Chair for Child Maltreatment and Family Health
First Endowed Chair in the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Colorado, School of Medicine to support the prevention of child maltreatment. This is also the first endowed chair in pediatrics, for child maltreatment, in the country. The Jack and Viki Thompson Chair for Child Maltreatment and Family Health will allow The Kempe Center to continue its research, treatment services and development of new programs to break the cycle of abuse.
The Helen M. McLoraine Kempe Children’s Foundation Endowment Fund
To support The Kempe Fostering Healthy Futures program which provides individual assessments, mentoring, advocacy and therapeutic skills groups to preadolescent children in foster care.
Georgia R. Imhoff Endowment Fund
To support the general operations of The Kempe Foundation and The Kempe Center. Georgia was a special champion of Kempe and this Endowment Fund is a tribute to her. She will always be in the hearts and minds of those dedicated to Kempe’s mission because of her love for children and desire to help those who have been abused and neglected.
