Kempe Perpetration Prevention Program

Training caring professionals to help change the life course of abusive youth.

We are the national leader in training professionals in strategies for perpetration prevention.

Our training helps others recognize and intervene in situations when juveniles are the perpetrators of sexually abusive behavior. At Kempe, one goal is to help keep today’s children from becoming tomorrow’s abusers. For 20 years, The Kempe Perpetration Prevention Program has been developing and sharing practical and useful information about specific intervention and prevention strategies with professionals around the country. Through local and national collaborative work, we are a leader in understanding and responding to the abusive behaviors of children and adolescents. We believe that by responding to early signs of abusive behavior, such patterns can be interrupted and life courses can be changed. We are committed to applying the important implications of our findings to help prevent child abuse across the lifespan.
