How to Help
When you donate to Kempe, you support our work to provide critical funding and support for doctors, social workers, researchers, trainers, policy teams and other professionals working everyday to prevent and treat child abuse and neglect. Please note the program that previously qualified for the Colorado Child Care Tax Credit is no longer active.
Other ways to show your support
True Blue giving provides Kempe with reliable and predictable financial support on a monthly or quarterly basis. By knowing in advance that we can count on your gift, we are able to reduce fundraising expenses. Your donation can be made with a credit card or with an automatic withdrawal from your bank account.
Members of the Kempe Society leave a legacy of hope through planned giving by incorporating The Kempe Foundation into your will or estate plan. The inclusion of Kempe in your estate plan will ensure long-term support that will impact children’s lives for many years to come.
Colorado Gives Day
Every December, Coloradans join together to support important causes and nonprofit organizations like Kempe. In 2020, our donors raised nearly $75,000 to expand the reach of our programs for the prevention of child maltreatment and healing of children who are experiencing trauma
We find meaningful ways to partner with companies to raise awareness, engage employees and support meaningful work in the field. We also appreciate employees who leverage their workplace matching gifts program to double their impact for Kempe.
Coloradans who receive a state income tax refund can donate some or all of it to Kempe. Simply enter The Kempe Foundation and our registration number in the Donate to a Colorado Nonprofit Fund line on your state income tax return or tax software.
